First time appeared on October, 30, 2009.
At 3 months and half after the start of this blog I received the proof as all that I done was right. In New Web Site on Google Index… I inserted the first results with screen-shots as proof from the big search engines. But many people thought as it could be just a theory. Today morning I saw in Google PR 4, then in Alexa classification the place 290.000. At this time this blog is hosted free, I used only free methods and free traffic sources. Also from the main page are missing some things, exceeds the number of outbund links and there are more than 3 banners on page. That means in reality that Google Page Rank could be higher.
But what things help to have a PR 4? The first important step is to apply a correct SEO technique. In SEO tips of common sense… I stressed the main points that might to be followed, the main fact as a web page would be optimized for search engines, not stuffed by keywords or other worst things. A web page can`t create alone a higher PR, that page would be just a webpage build SEO friendly. We can`t do more here, more means exaggeration. But in outside we can do more: quality backlinks building. But what is the difference between SEO and SEM?
SEO in the main use free sources to dealing with natural results in different search engines. It`s a continuously work to obtain high ranking in search engine result page – SERP – for selected keywords or group of words – key phrases. It`s based on tests in time, analysis, a constant process to build a brand, to obtain quality one way backlinks, targeted traffic to the desired website.
SEM is more larger than SEO, who consists more in paid methods: paid listings, paid inclusions or other form of Internet Marketing who use search engines some like an advertising tool. In the first case SERP is build by search engines based on his quality search result algorithm and selected keywords, usually the best results are obtained in time after a constant work, while with SEM we can set that paid SERP for fast and better results from search engines.
A high importance for increasing Google Page Rank would have one way quality backlinks building, where essential methods, techniques and places will be used. In that article you`ll find an unique information about even many webmasters don`t know and is the real reason for suddenly decreasing of a website in classification or even worst – disappearing from search results – without nothing changed on that website.
In any place you`ll find as a leitmotif „for increasing in Alexa ranking you have to use Alexa toolbar in your browser and the widget in your website…”. Alexa widget in your website might work well, each time when your site has a visit, will send to Alexa that thing. But I not use its. A mistake from my part? The results show as I`m done well. My little trick was quirk search status a Firefox plugin which show a lot of things and seems to send to Alexa the same information as the original widget. And very important – an easy way to see if a link has „dofollow” or „nofollow” relation. And it`s free!
Quote: „For every site you visit using, SearchStatus lets you view its Google PageRank, Google Category, Alexa popularity ranking, Compete.com ranking, SEOmoz Linkscape mozRank, Alexa incoming links, Alexa related links and backward links from Google, Yahoo! and MSN. This combined search-related information means you can view not only the link importance of a site (according to Google and Linkscape), but also its traffic importance (according to Alexa and Compete), so providing a balanced view of site efficacy.”
The most desired traffic is the from search engines – organic traffic, well known for his higher rate of conversion. But it`s need of some time to develop that traffic source. In Free Traffic you can see some free but of a high quality traffic sources who can bring instantly a lot of daily traffic to your website.
When I started this blog I wrote something like „keep an eye on this place to see some great results in less time” and now I recommend the same: continue to keep an open eye here….

PageRank is probably one of the most important algorithms ever developed for the Web.
PageRank is not simply based upon the total number of inbound links.
The basic approach of PageRank is that a document is in fact considered the more important the more other documents link to it,
but those inbound links do not count equally.
good points here about Trust now being a major factor in search engine results,
that goes with what Rand and others have been saying too.
this also settles for me the value of a natural approach to gaining backlinks and not getting a huge bunch of them,
or a large # of high pr backlinks in a short period of time – it rather undermines the Trust factor.
I do wonder what you think of bing and how Trust does/will play a role in their results.
it seems to me from a rather preliminary and cursory look at some results and comparing those to over at google and yahoo,
that bing ofter relies more on the keyword/s being the actual url,
which seems to me a rather poor way to rank sites/pages.

Hi “SEO Expert Lahore”,
Many thanks for your time to write your thoughts and for your quality comment.
Yes indeed, in this article my intentions was to write about Google rules in the main. If you have the time to see other useful things shared, in Matt Cutts Google Caffeine Update you’ll find:
“The comScore Core Search Report for July 2009, analysis of the U.S. search marketplace show the domination of Google:
Google Sites 64.7%
Yahoo! Sites 19.3%
Microsoft Sites 8.9%
Ask Network 3.9%
AOL LLC Network 3.1%”
In present U.S. seems to be the only country who Google doesn’t hold the supremacy…
From SEOMOZ comments as e.g. it seems as Google is more flexible – Google appreciate the new content, while it seems as Bing don’t appreciate too much a blog….
In this place Developer.Yahoo.Yslow you can find 25 knows rules of Yahoo search engine:
Minimize HTTP Requests
Use a Content Delivery Network
Avoid empty src or href
Add an Expires or a Cache-Control Header
Gzip Components
Put StyleSheets at the Top
Put Scripts at the Bottom
Avoid CSS Expressions
Make JavaScript and CSS External
Reduce DNS Lookups
Minify JavaScript and CSS
Avoid Redirects
Remove Duplicate Scripts
Configure ETags
Make AJAX Cacheable
Use GET for AJAX Requests
Reduce the Number of DOM Elements
No 404s
Reduce Cookie Size
Use Cookie-Free Domains for Components
Avoid Filters
Do Not Scale Images in HTML
Make favicon.ico Small and Cacheable
These things shared here are just as examples. Any SEO expert will work very hard to optimize a website or blog for ALL the search engines. It’s not impossible, but very hard to obtain.
The little space for one article is too less to contain details information for each search engine – and I thing all these rules will be overwhelming for an average reader, for a non-SEO-expert.

I have tried to follow this tutorial with no success. Your first example code is html but your downloaded code does not include an html document. I tried to take the downloaded code and run it on my web server and it does not present the pages. You get the enter you name box but nothing happens when you do. Also you see some of the code. I guess my question would be is the download code suppose to work.

Hi there! I know this is somewhat off topic but
I was wondering which blog platform are you using
for this website? I’m getting sick and tired of WordPress because I’ve had issues with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform. I would be awesome if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.

Many thanks again for your nice words. If my work could be helpful with some for each of you, then the main goal for my blog will be acquired – and these aren’t just empty words…
In present the Google Panda, Penguin… algorithm is a topic debated and for each of the new bloggers: the day when you’ll understand the true power of a real profile and nickname chosen for your author comment, and avoid the old spam tactic with keywords used as “nickname” (such as “SEO”, car insurance, “cheapest prices” and many other of this kind) which bring just worst results for your needs – the day when you’ll understand and you’ll start using the comments in a proper way, it will be your first BIG STEP in the right direction… and much more than just a simple step…
Ganaalisante, by scrolling down to the footer, you can see “Powered by WordPress…”. Hackers could affect any website or blog platform… you have to take security measures like could be: website security plugins (BulletProof Security, WP Security Scan etc.), fight spam plugins (Akismet, Bad Behavior, Cookies for Comments etc.), the last updates for your WP database or plugins used, often backups; simply measures like strong passwords, hidden caches, even hidden the version of release and more; some hosting platforms offers different tools for website protection… a lot more of security rules for your website or blog.
In real, even blogging seems to be an easy thing to do, it require not only lots of things to learn, but a permanently need of learning – new things appear constantly and you need to keep in touch with each of these. …In case you want to earn money or to promote something you need to become a professional blogger…
All the best for each of you, thank you again!
