In many places you will see various offers about “secrets”, “top weapon”, “Google or AdWords domination”, “find the right keywords” …for a price, and many times you will not find there what you expect would be… Blogging is an Art…

I think by sharing a free information with the results obtained, that can be verified anytime can be useful for everyone, not a reason of discontent. In a TE program very appreciated, a real marketplace, a place of connection with marketers from all the woorld, that is show in the Free Traffic page, we have often discussions about different niche in online business. In a day we talked about the results obtained in search engines and about choosing the right keyword.

Of course, first lets start to share the two free, but very useful sources for keywords:

Please try an alternative.”. So, as keyword this combination will have too low results….

Choose the sites you leave comments on

Do not be rude

Have a sense of humor. The Internet is a vast expanse of space, currently limitless. In fact, it’s a whole universe unto itself. If people leave comments on your post that seem to insult you or argue with you, don’t fight back without thinking.

First of all, we are a democracy and people have every right to their own opinion. Second, firing back with the same kind of idiotic language will not be a good reflection on you. Third, you’re way better than that. If you must defend your stand, do so with class.

Calm down

Please, if you must drive traffic to your blog by leaving comments on other websites, keep it professional and tone it down. DON’T LEAVE MESSAGES LIKE THIS ONE!!!!!!

A good rule of thumb is to follow accepted structure of the English language or whatever language it is you’re using to post. If you must use exclamatory points, make sure they are truly needed. Otherwise, avoid them.

Leaving comments written in purely bold or capitalized letter smacks of desperation and unprofessionalism. It’s hardselling and makes people stay away in droves.

Check replies to your blogs

Maximize commenting on other sites and drive traffic by frequently checking back on the forum you participated in to see if there are any replies to the post you left. This is a good way to build buzz and network.

Check your facts

If you will be quoting someone or citing a certain study, make sure your facts can be corroborated. Don’t use make believe or newly invented figures and statements or even half-truths and try to pass them off as legit. You will be exposed. If you want to drive traffic to your blog by leaving comments, make sure you don’t tarnish your reputation with the effort.

Proactive prospecting can be much like physically exercising regularly. It’s something that you know is good for you and will produce predictable positive results, yet is something that most sales people always seem to avoid!

The key word is commitment. Commit to setting an appointment with yourself for one or two hours each day. Start with utilizing your resources such as your sphere of influence. It is easy to say to ourselves, “Well, I have a lot to do today so I’ll start prospecting tomorrow or next week”. Prospecting not only requires commitment but discipline as well. You are important so make that daily appointment with yourself just as you would will any potentially important customer or client.

Write down what you are going to say and practice saying it to yourself in the mirror. You will come across more confident to the person on the other side of the phone. Consider talking about something of value to the customer. It might be something related to the economy or the real estate housing market. People love knowledge and education. Provide them with information that will draw their interest.

Make as many contacts as possible. Before prospecting, you should always take the time to properly define your target market, and try to reach as many of those people as possible.

I would highly suggest having a database of at least one month’s supply of names. The time allocated for prospecting should not be wasted looking up names or deciding at that moment who you are going to talk to next. Be prepared and watch how much more productive you will become.

Work without interruption. Do not take calls or schedule meetings during your scheduled prospecting time. Take full advantage of the prospecting learning curveas with any repetitive task, the more often you repeat it during a contiguous block of time, the better you become. Prospecting is no exception to the rule. Your second call will be better than your first, your third better than the second, and so on.

Consider prospecting during off peak hours when conventional prospecting times don’t work. Some of your best work will be done between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM, between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM, and between 5:00 PM and 6:30 PM. Vary your call times. We are all creatures of habit. So are your prospects. In all likelihood, they are attending the same meeting each Monday at 10:00 AM (or whatever time you can’t seem to connect with them). If you cannot get through at this time, call this particular person in your sphere of influence at other times during the day or on other days.

Did you know that most success is made after the fifth call? Most sales people give up after the first call. Persistence is your best virtue.

Understanding of some simple search engine optimization techniques could raise your online business to incredible results

In the first article from this blog I wrote about the project started in July 13th with a Clickbank product and my actual blog. Search engines evolve day by day and we need to keep our attention to all their changes. Few days ago I have had an unpleasant surprise, something similar with was happening before of July 13th.

At that time in my website with a Clickbank product I set a simple 301 redirect command to the main page of that product – a setting used by years by many top marketers. Well, Google seems that then changed something in their algorithm. Matt Cutts explained some time after that the effect, something like: “if too many web sites use redirect 301 to a main website then Google will strengthen that product link, only that link will appear in SERP`s (search engine results page)” – to see Webmaster Tools video collection on Youtube –

With some changes in index I could bring my referral product page in my website, in this way protecting my referral link – the main reason for this procedure -. So the visitors could seen my referral link through the link of my website, something similar to bit.ly, ow.ly, hootsuite, tiny.url and other the same services. In 1-2 days the things come back to normal, my website appeared as usual in Google search results and in index. From then I reached to 20 keywords in the 1st page of Google, a notable result in less time I think.

3 months all things was all right, constantly sellings, better positions from a week to another, nice. As I wrote in above, few days ago it seems as Google made another change and the result was the same as before of July 13th; again the main page of Clickbank product appeared in all places with results of searches where was my website and in searching for the website with the command „http”; for the command „site:…” or by searching for „www” my website still appeared correctly. A big problem for anyone.

I don`t know if Google try to extends his rules, if for Google search engine at this time it are not enough just the classification for results and the storage of SERP`s, but I know the feeling of frustration as referral for the work of promotion done and the time spent for that… To mention as this change was just in Google, the other two giants of search engines Bing and Yahoo have not changed anything.

I could ask if a referral with some technical skills don`t have to right to obtain results from search engines for his referral page, but it`s not here the right place. For an article, news, publication is logical to be the problem with the identical content, but could be extended that problem to the referral programs, where all pages from a program have the same content?!… hm… that is it, these are the Google`s rules and we have to respect all these.

Logical, it was the time for another changing, for this time it was need to change the index page, a major changing of my website, usually a reason for reindexing or decreasing positions in the search results. I deleted also index.php from Google Webmaster Tools with the logical results of dissapearing of my website from the Google index. Usual I could have to wait another 3-6 months for indexing of my website and so on. How much time it was need for my website?

In 24 hours my website appeared in Google.ro (my country), in 48 hours appeared in Google.com and in the next day in all the results where it was before! In below is a screen shot made one hour ago.

As a extension of the project from this blog is a part, I just started another domain name Keyword tool to verify what it could be the minimum possible for a fast index in Google. At 3 months and half after the start of this blog I received the proof as all that I done was right. In New Web Site on Google Index… I inserted the first results with screen-shots as proof from the big search engines. But many people thought as it could be just a theory. Today morning I saw in Google PR 4, then in Alexa classification the place 290.000. At this time this blog is hosted free, I used only free methods and free traffic sources. Also from the main page are missing some things, exceeds the number of outbund links and there are more than 3 banners on page. That means in reality that Google Page Rank could be higher.
